Join visual artist Martha Sakellariou at her studio (E7) for an engaging talk and presentation exploring the key threads of her artistic practice through a selection of keywords. From HOME and MEMORY to DREAMS, CRISIS, SELF-PORTRAITS, TIME, and COLOR, Martha will reveal twenty (20) words that shape her creative process and reflect on how she navigates life through art.

Martha Sakellariou is a Greek-born, interdisciplinary artist currently based in the Bay Area. She is a long term resident at the juried-in City of Palo Alto Cubberley Artist Studio Program. She studied printmaking at the Royal College of Art in London, painting at the Athens School of Fine Arts and music at the Athens Conservatoire in Greece. Her work has been commissioned for public and private spaces in the Bay Area and has been exhibited nationally and internationally including institutions and museums like the De Young SF, ICA SJ, the Palo Alto Art Center, MoMAs GR.
