Spring Family Day

Family Day image.jpg

Join us for a day filled with family friendly art activities based on our upcoming exhibit, In Feast or Famine.

This family-oriented event will feature hands-on, food-themed art making projects, a booth presented by the Palo Alto Libraries, and a special upcycled art project inspired by food—presented by Kat Kid Adventures*—that inspires everyone to be an eco-hero, and a food-themed story time! Stay until the end for The Very Hungry Caterpillar story time with Palo Alto Librarian, Melisa Mendoza!

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:

• 2–4 p.m. Artmaking activities led by Art Center Teaching Artists: Mini Pot decorating station; DIY Recycled Produce Prints; and Favorite Dish Art

• 2–4 p.m. Climate Connections Activities hosted by Kat Kid Adventures and Informational Booth about the Palo Alto Libraries!

• 4–4:30 pm The Very Hungry Caterpillar, by Eric Carle, Story Time led by Melisa Mendoza, Palo Alto City Librarian
