Palo Alto Airport Transient Fees & Automobile Parking Fees

Palo Alto Airport is committed to providing a safe, seamless, and efficient aviation experience for all our visitors. To support this commitment, effective June 1, 2025, the airport implemented a new transient and automobile check-in and fee collection solution managed by Altaport. To help you plan your trip, we have outlined the Airport check-in process and fees below.

Check-in and Landing Fees 

All transient aircraft and automobiles are required to check in upon arrival. Check-in is completed through Altaport, accessible via the QR codes posted throughout the airport.

Aircraft Transient Parking Fees

Fees are assessed to transient operators and automobiles as per the FY26 Rates and Fees Schedule.(PDF, 67KB)

The following aircraft and operation types are exempt from the fees.

  • PAO tenant-based aircraft 
  • Maintenance flights conducted within Maintenance business’ leased areas
  • U.S Military, federal government, or police operators
  • Angel Flights

Billing and Payment Information

PAO has authorized Altaport, Inc. (“Altaport”) to collect applicable airport fees. Altaport Authority to Bill may be viewed here.

Payments should be made via Altaport’s online payment portal, available at altaport.info.

The following payment methods are accepted:

  1. Credit/Debit Cards
  2. ACH Transfer

Upon checking in through Altaport, operators may elect to pay immediately or later via invoice or may claim exemption. Operators not paying upon arrival via check-in will receive an invoice via email or mail. Once registered with Altaport, operators may log in anytime to view their operations history, make payments, and manage their account.
