Learn documentary filmmaking using just your smartphone or tablet. Join award-winning filmmaker Ala Mohseni for a hands-on workshop introducing the fundamentals of documentary storytelling. Through simple exercises and examples, participants will learn how to develop an idea, capture meaningful footage, and edit a short documentary-style video using only a smartphone or tablet.
No previous filmmaking experience is required.

Youth and adults interested in storytelling, filmmaking, art, community, or creative self-expression. Participants under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
