Meet the Artists: Palo Alto Temporary Murals

Meet the artists who created eight temporary murals installed in Palo Alto near California Ave and downtown pedestrian corridors earlier this year and learn more about the artists’ inspiration and creative process for the Palo Alto murals, as well as their creative journeys in the realm of public art.

Eight local artists t.w.five, Robin Apple, Lauren Berger, and Katherine Liu, Jorge Camacho, Damon Belanger, Liz Hickock, and Carrie Lederer created original designs for site-specific murals exploring themes of resiliency, empathy, healing, cultural diversity and vibrancy. 

Community members are invited to submit their comments and questions to the artists to nadya.chuprina@paloalto.gov by 5 pm on April 4^th, 2021. See all murals, their locations and descriptions with the help of an interactive tour map.
