PSN September 21.JPG

September is Suicide Prevention Awareness Month, which includes National Suicide Prevention Week (September 5-11, 2021) and World Suicide Prevention Day (Friday, September 10). Project Safety Net (PSN) joins youth, communities, and organizations across the nation and world to raise suicide prevention awareness. We take the entire month to amplify resources and opportunities to get involved in youth suicide prevention and mental health promotion.

Here is a preview of our upcoming September Community Events. More details to come!

*Project Safety Net is a collaborative community network held together by a common interest of fostering youth well-being in Palo Alto. Their mission is to develop and implement a community-based mental health plan that includes education, prevention and intervention strategies that together provide a “safety net” for youth in Palo Alto, and defines our community’s teen suicide prevention efforts.
