Stop Motion Animation Workshop

Bring your child to a free Stop Motion Animation Workshop at the Cubberley Artist Studio Program with artist Ala Mohseni.

Kids ages 7–14 will learn how to bring everyday objects to life, one frame at a time. Using materials such as clay figures, LEGO bricks, or paper cutouts, participants will explore how individual images can be sequenced together to create movement and tell a story.

This hands-on workshop introduces children to the basics of animation while encouraging creativity, patience, problem-solving, and attention to detail. No prior experience is needed, and all materials and equipment will be provided.

Space is limited, and registration is required.

Parents and guardians are welcome to stay in or near the classroom during the workshop. Families are also welcome to participate together.
