2024 BCC Recruitment Banner

If you’re interested in making a positive impact in the community, the City is looking to fill 18 open seats on seven boards, commissions, and committees.

The City’s boards, commissions and committees review items and make recommendations before they are reviewed by the City Council. The work of the BCCs further City priorities, inform Council decision-making, and facilitate community engagement through their meetings and discussions.

In a new two-part series, get an in-depth view of what it means to volunteer on a City Board, Commission, and Committee, learn what they do, why you may want to get involved, and what is required to apply.

Recruitment is underway for the following Boards, Commissions and Committees:

  • Architectural Review Board
  • Historic Resources Board
  • Human Relations Commission
  • Planning and Transportation Commission
  • Public Art Commission
  • Stormwater Management Oversight Committee
  • Utilities Advisory Commission
