The latest community update shares safety tips and sustainability and wellness resources to help the whole family transition back into school.

Caltrain and the City of Palo Alto are advancing plans to separate the railroad from roads, bicycle routes, and pedestrian paths at Churchill Avenue, Meadow Drive, and Charleston Road. On December 15, 2025, the Palo Alto City Council selected preferred alternatives to advance to the 15% design stage for all three crossings. Since then, the project team has been working to refine the crossing designs and incorporate community feedback.
Attend an in-person community meeting on August 25 or 26 to learn more about the refined 15% designs. This feedback will inform Council consideration of advancing to 35% design and the environmental documentation phase later this fall.
