Community Connection in Action
Save the date to join us for a day of fun celebrating sustainability and learning about what you can do now to help save the planet.
This year, the Mayor, City officials, and Youth Climate Advisory Board President will kick off the event with a short speaker program welcoming the community.
Learn about available resources for Palo Alto residents to make an impact and ways your neighbors are taking climate action to support achieving the City’s 80x30 Sustainability and Climate Action plan goals. Fun offerings include special library storytimes for kids and youth, Zero Waste trivia games, seed bomb and packet-making crafts, local youth sustainability networking, and hang out with Sequoia the Bald Eagle and Animal Control’s gopher snake. Come together with the community, connect with others, and take action.
- Go electric at home or your business by connecting with resource experts
- Find ways to conserve water
- Learn how to repair household items for reuse
- Talk to Palo Alto Park Rangers about ecology and educational opportunities
- Gain emergency preparedness resources
We invite all ages to our free Earth Day Festival.
New! Participate at the event for the opportunity to gain raffle tickets to win a portable induction cooktop or a membership to the Palo Alto Junior Museum & Zoo.
