Palo Alto Recreation Foundation, in partnership with the City of Palo Alto, and signature event series sponsors Mark Zuckerberg and Priscilla Chan, Stanford Research Park, and the Palo Alto Weekly, present Thursday Live on Cal Ave., a free outdoor concert series bringing together local musical talent, themed experiences and community activity to California Avenue. Thursday Live on Cal Ave. will transform car free Cal Ave. into a lively gathering space with popular, local music talent, interactive activities, free giveaways, games and themed programming for all ages. 

Join Us For the Taste of Cal Ave. & World Music: Thursday Live on June 25

Join us for the Taste of Cal Ave. and world music local talent on two stages with dance performers and more! On the Ash stage: Batuki is a high energy Latin fusion band from the San Francisco Bay Area, featuring percussion, melodic instruments, multilingual vocals and electronic samples. On the El Camino stage: Experience Gypsy Tribe, passionately combining the essence of Spain, Brazil, the Middle East, North and Latin America. Max Darrow, KPIX Channel 5 TV News Anchor/Reporter will be Thursday Live emcee and host for the evening. Planned activities include a kids zone and activities hosted by the Pacific Art League, photo booth, and giveaways. Visit Cal Ave. for music and connection, and stay for food and fun at local restaurants, retail, bars and more.

Parking: Cal Ave. Business District offers several parking lots, and the Cal Ave. parking garage located at 350 Sherman offers 627 parking spaces and over 50 bicycle parking spaces.

Biking to Cal Ave.: Community members are encouraged to ride their bikes to Cal Ave. for Thursday Live. There is plenty of bicycle parking spaces. Click for a map of bike routes.
