Animal Portrait workshop

Hello animal lovers!

Bring your favorite animal picture to this fun workshop with City of Palo Alto artist-in-residence Harumo Sato! You will create a tangible/colorful painting out of ordinary objects : upcycled plastic food containers and papers.

Customize your project: Please bring a B&W or color pet picture printed on 8.5″x11″ paper OR email your picture to harumosato@gmail.com before the workshop and the artist can print it for you. 

 

Things to note:

• Makers of all skill levels are welcome. Age 13 and up. 

• All necessary tools to participate are provided, and the artist will have a multitude of collage materials on hand, but participants are welcome to bring any of the following: (1) Old books/old childrens books in broken or worn condition to take apart (2) one time use plastic food containers or any plastic household waste. Please make sure they are all washed and oil free!

Free program. Registration required. The maximum capacity for this class is 7 participants. Age 13 and up.
