Join us for the public unveiling of Luminous Ties, an interactive public artwork by Kiana Honarmand. Meet the artist in person and celebrate with the community members, organizations, and project partners who helped shape the installation.
Created through the City of Palo Alto’s Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. & Coretta Scott King Artist Residency, Luminous Ties grew from community conversations about home and belonging. Its spiraling bench lights up when people sit on opposite sides, turning a shared seat into a shared experience.
Come connect with neighbors and experience the artwork together. All are welcome!
