MENU FOR A REVOLUTION
This seated, dinner-style presentation by Cubberley Artist-in-Residence Martha Sakellariou blurs the line between storytelling, performance and installation, and invites you into a participatory, imaginative exploration of the dinner table as a platform for rituals, gestures, and conversations. Take a seat at the artist’s table and engage with a menu of collected ideas inspired by audience contributions during Sakellariou’s 2024 residency and solo exhibition, Revolution Is a Dinner Party, at the Palo Alto Art Center. Edible elements will be offered as part of the presentation, but please note this is not a full dinner meal.
Martha Sakellariou is a Greek-born, Palo Alto–based interdisciplinary artist known for her multimedia installations, socially engaged practice, and performances. Her work investigates personal and collective memory, public and private space, and the everyday rituals that shape our identities.
Free event, limited seating, age 18 and up, - Registration required.
