March and Rally for Earth

Bay Area students will “March and Rally for Our Earth” on Friday, April 22 from 4 to 6 p.m. at King Plaza, in front of Palo Alto. Welcoming friends, families, and any community members, this event begins with guest speakers Congresswoman Anna Eshoo, Assemblymember Marc Berman, Palo Alto Mayor, and environmental leaders and musicians at the King Plaza rally.

Students will then lead a march at 5 p.m. around and back to King Plaza to gear up community members for climate action. After the march, visit local organizations' tables and hang Earth Day pledges on the "Pledge tree." The March and Rally for Our Earth is a chance to celebrate the climate progress our cities have already made and to encourage community spirit as we push for a more sustainable future.
