Natural Dye Workshop

Cubberley Artist Jaya Griscom is now adding one more free natural dye workshop due to high demand, in her Studio U4 at the Cubberley Community Center on Saturday January 13, 2024, at 1 p.m. Reserve your spot now!

You will see all the stages of naturally extracting pigments from plants grown in Jaya's garden and binding them to yarn and fabric. There will be lots of time for questions and peering into dye pots. Each participant will get a dyed sample to take home and instructions will be available, in case you're inspired to dye on your own! Space is limited, so sign ups via Eventbrite are necessary.
