The City of Palo Alto's Cubberley Artist Studio Program (CASP) is a unique rent-subsidized program with 22 artist studios for long-term and short-term artist residencies. Rent-subsidized studios at CASP are provided in exchange for artist-led free public programming, which contributes to the vitality of the arts in Palo Alto and creates a dynamic cultural destination. After a juried selection process, 22 artists are currently in a long-term four-year residency with the CASP Program. They work in a rich diversity of media including installation, mixed media, painting, printmaking, interdisciplinary art, photography, sculpture, film, textile, woodworking and performance.
