Watercolorist Judy Lew Loose will give a Public Tour of her mural at 250 Sherman Avenue at 4.30 p.m. on Thursday August 25. The artist renders the sights and sounds of California Avenue – the trains and bikes, the Sunday morning farmer’s market, the restaurants and their patrons – in a colorful pointillist style. Each dot represents gratitude for simple moments in life that can blossom into new possibilities. Judy Lew Loose explores a new technique in watercolor, combining the medium with pointillism. Her work frequently centers on California and San Francisco imagery where she attended the Academy of Art college.
