Join the Palo Alto Bicycle and Pedestrian Transportation Plan (BPTP) Update project team and Avenidas on a community walking tour to discuss pedestrian-oriented design issues, needs, and opportunities.
On this leisurely afternoon walk, explore Downtown Palo Alto through a lens of pedestrian mobility, traffic safety, and urban design. Staff will guide the group along a route with key stops to discuss pedestrian-oriented design features, note potential opportunities for improvement, and hear from you! Discussion and information gathered will help inform the Bicycle and Pedestrian Transportation Plan (BPTP) Update project and guide recommendations related to pedestrian oriented design.
The walking tour is hosted in collaboration with Avenidas, a non-profit agency helping mid-Peninsula seniors live well & live independently. We will start 5-10 minutes after 1:30pm.
