Join fellow bike enthusiasts for a scenic 9 mile ride down El Camino's protected bike lanes to Mountain View and back. Ages 18+.
When: Tuesday, August 4. Assemble at 5:15 p.m., leave at 5:30 p.m. sharp
Route: Head south on the wonderful, protected bike lanes of El Camino Real. Turn around at Eagle Park in Mountain View (arrive around 6:30 p.m.) and head back north on El Camino to Cal Ave (9 miles roundtrip). Light food and drinks will be served.
Benefits: Socialize with other bike advocates, exercise, activate ECR protected bike lanes, help others feel comfortable using bike lanes.
Safety tips: Helmet required, brightly-colored clothing to be more visible to drivers advised.
