San Antonio Road Corridor Visioning Workshop
Consistent with the City’s housing element, the San Antonio Corridor has been identified as an area for new housing development. The City is planning for approximately 1,200 new housing units, a population increase of approximately 3,000 residents.
Save the date and help shape the future of the San Antonio Corridor at a community workshop. The City of Palo Alto is working with city planning students from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo to develop a concept plan for the area. A concept plan will help guide future development in the study area and address the need for resident-serving land uses such as parks and access to neighborhood schools, transportation solutions, and more. The boundaries of the corridor include San Antonio Road from U.S. Highway 101 to Alma Street.
Join the City and Cal Poly students at Mitchell Park Community Center on Wednesday, January 24 at 6-8 p.m. This in-person only workshop will feature multiple hands-on activities to gain community feedback about new housing and development in the area. All are welcome.
