Breaking With the Law - Coupa Café

The Police Department is pleased to announce that its “Breaking With the Law” events are returning, with the first one since the shelter in place ended occurring between 9 and 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 23, at Coupa Café at 538 Ramona Street.

There’s no formal program or presentation, just an opportunity to “take a break” and have casual conversations with personnel from the Police Department. Meet officers, dispatchers, records personnel, and maybe even an animal control officer too. Swing by at any point during the two hours, ask questions, raise concerns, and grab some fantastic coffee or breakfast from Coupa Café!

If you choose to bring your little ones (the bigger ones will be in school!), we'll have a police car there that they'll be able to check out.

Future events will occur at other locations in town and on alternate days and times to accommodate the diverse schedules of our community members.
