Inside the Plant: A Careers Tour for Teens

Teens on Tour

Exploring science-related or technical career paths? 

Teens, join us to go behind the scenes of wastewater treatment. Ideal for teens exploring environmental science, engineering, hands-on trades, and public service. Discover wastewater careers such as operators, mechanics, electricians, inspectors, lab technicians, scientists, engineers, and public outreach. Tour will be followed by a career panel with staff.

This tour is for high school teens only.

  • The tour requires the ability to walk for more than an hour and climb stairs. If you have a disability that may require an accommodation and would like to participate, please reach out to us.
  • Youth must be at least 14 years old. This is a teens-only tour, and adults may not accompany youth. However, please reach out if your child has a disability requiring a companion.
  • Closed-toe shoes are required. 
  • Participants must register, and their parent or guardian must sign a liability waiver prior to the tour.
  • After you register, you will receive a confirmation email with directions including where to park and the liability waiver.
