Participants on tour of wastewater treatment plant

Take a free walking tour of the Regional Water Quality Control Plant. See how operators, scientists, and engineers work together to keep the treatment plant operating 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Tours are offered from April to September. 

  • The tour requires the ability to walk for more than an hour and climb stairs. If you have a disability that may require an accommodation and would like to participate, please reach out to us.
  • Youth must be at least 11 years old and accompanied by an adult.
  • Closed-toe shoes are required. 
  • Participants must register and sign a liability waiver, available once you arrive at the Plant for the tour.
  • After you register, you will receive a confirmation email with directions including where to park.
