Council Round Up March 21, 2022

To keep you connected and up to date on notable Palo Alto City Council meeting discussions, we are sharing a brief weekly update. At the City Council meeting on March 21, 2022, the following actions took place.

City Council adopted an interim ordinance refining SB 9 regulations and directed staff to review and adopt proposed objective standards for urban lot splits that would apply to qualifying SB9 projects and work with the Historic Resources Board to review current eligible properties to make recommendations for listing on the historic inventory in accordance with the municipal code, and collaborate with the Historic Resource Board for community engagement on this topic. The Council also approved, the Planning and Transportation Commission 2023-31 Housing Element sites with additional changes.
