As we embrace the holiday season, #GivingTuesday offers the perfect opportunity for our community to come together and support those in need. Here's a roundup of meaningful ways you can contribute, volunteer, and make a difference in Palo Alto:

Support the Meowy Howlidays Pet Supply Drive

From November 12 through December 12, we're collecting pet food, toys, cat litter, and cat & dog beds at locations across Palo Alto, Los Altos, and Los Altos Hills. Can’t make it in person? You can also donate via our Amazon ListMonetary donations are also accepted throughout the year to help purchase supplies for our animal rescue efforts, and to help pet owners at our monthly Pet Pantries. You can donate here.

 

Physical donation locations:
  • Palo Alto City Hall
  • Mitchell Park & Rinconada libraries
  • Los Altos Hills Town Hall
  • Los Altos Police Department
  • Los Altos Hillview Community Center
  • Pets In Need Palo Alto
  • Palo Alto High School
Donations will be dispersed in conjunction with @projectwehope on December 14 from 3-6 p.m. at 1854 Bay Rd., E. Palo Alto.

 

Brighten a Child’s Holiday with Our Local Toy Drive

Join us in making this holiday season joyful for every child with our Holiday Toy Drive. We are collecting new, unwrapped toys to distribute to local children in need now through December 14. By donating a gift, you can bring smiles and festive cheer to young faces in our community. Drop off your contributions at designated locations and be a part of spreading happiness and goodwill this season. Your generosity makes a world of difference!
