Flags Flown at Half-Staff in Honor of Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day

The flag outside Palo Alto City Hall, the Municipal Service Center, and all City buildings and fire stations are being flown at half-staff on Wednesday, December 7 in commemoration of National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day, 2022.

From President Joseph R. Biden, Jr.: "I encourage all Americans to reflect on the courage shown by our brave service members that day and remember their sacrifices. I ask us all to give sincere thanks and appreciation to the survivors of that unthinkable day."

As a mark of respect for National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day and in accordance with City policies and procedures, the flag of the United States shall be flown at half-staff until sunset on December 7, 2022.
