Flags Flown at Half-Staff in Honor of Sandra Day O’Connor

United State's flag flown at half-staff in front of City Hall

The flag outside Palo Alto City Hall, the Municipal Service Center, and all City buildings and fire stations are being flown at half-staff in commemoration of Sandra Day O’Connor, the first woman on our Nation’s highest court.

As a mark of respect for Sandra Day O’Connor and in accordance with City policies and procedures, the flag of the United States shall be flown at half-staff until sunset on Tuesday, December 19, 2023.
