New Affordable Housing Units Open in Palo Alto

Housing for Social & Economic Balance is a key City Council priority, as demonstrated by Palo Alto's $20.5 million contribution to Wilton Court Apartments - an affordable housing project for community members of all incomes and abilities. Located at 3705 El Camino Real in Palo Alto, Wilton Court Apartments recently celebrated their grand opening with a ribbon cutting ceremony. The new building features 59 studio and one bedroom apartments for households earning between 30 and 60% of the area median income and several amenities, including: 

  • High speed internet access & on-site computer room
  • Indoor & outdoor bicycle parking
  • On-site laundry
  • Community rooms, lounges & activity rooms
  • Courtyard & garden area
  • Package & mail room
  • Close to public transit, shopping, & parks

Several units are set aside for adults with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities. High-quality supportive services will be available to these individuals through Housing Choices and San Andres Regional Center including case management, health & wellness programs, and assistance accessing community resources.
