The Palo Alto Community Survey is a feedback tool that helps the City Council and City staff understand community perspectives on current services and programs, as well as unmet needs and priorities. The survey was initially sent via mail on August 13 to a random sample population of resident households. On September 15, the survey opens citywide.

The County of Santa Clara Vector Control District plans to conduct an aerial mosquito larva control treatment on Thursday, March 20 starting at 7:30 a.m. in the Palo Alto flood basin of the Baylands Nature Preserve. This annual preventative treatment will take approximately 6 - 8 hours using a helicopter, weather permitting.
