The recent global tech issue impacted many including the City of Palo Alto. Our staff responded immediately to the CrowdStrike/Microsoft Incident ensuring the safety and integrity of our internal systems, restoring systems such as servers, and applications. Public Safety and Utilities systems were not impacted. Services hosted by vendors that were impacted and now restored include the City website, Palo Alto Zoo subsite, agenda management system and records management system, Community Services registration services and Airport’s transient and auto parking.

The unfortunate reality is that cybercriminals are using this incident to target organizations and individuals. Use caution when clicking on links, opening attachments, and providing personal information.
