The S/CAP Ad Hoc Committee members, staff, and the community will convene Thursday, Dec. 9, from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. to discuss mobility. Staff will present information about current programs related to walking, biking, and related infrastructure, and ways to reduce road transportation. As part of the S/CAP update, the mobility topic relates to reducing road transportation, which represents the largest percentage of Palo Alto’s existing carbon footprint. Reducing emissions from the transportation sector requires reducing carbon-intense fuels, increasing vehicle efficiency, and reducing the number of miles traveled in a vehicle. You can register to join the meeting via zoom here. Provide your input, feedback, and ideas at the meeting or ahead of time in this online survey.
