The City is working to make walking and bicycling easier in Palo Alto. The South Palo Alto Bike/Ped Connectivity effort will identify community-supported locations and design concepts where two new grade-separated bicycle and pedestrian pathways across the Caltrain railroad tracks may be constructed, supporting the City’s mobility and sustainability goals.
A new online survey is available to share feedback about eight preliminary rail crossing design alternatives and accompanying bicycle and pedestrian improvements to connect neighborhood streets in South Palo Alto.

We invite you to attend an interactive workshop to share further feedback on the locations and design concepts on September 9 at Mitchell Park Community Center. Community feedback will help the City compare options for further refinement and City Council consideration.
