Artist-Led Workshops

The new King Artist in Residence, Kirti Bassendine, invites the community to two hands-on workshops to discuss housing, equity, and belonging in Palo Alto. The project goal is to spark conversations about inclusion, equity, and a sense of belonging, and will result in a final temporary artwork displayed on King Plaza.

Both events take place in person at Rinconada Library on August 24, noon - 2 p.m. and August 30, 4 - 6 p.m.

Palo Alto Airport Long Range Facilities and Sustainability Plan

This second community meeting provides an opportunity to learn about the plan, share feedback, ask questions, and learn about next steps. The Long-Range Facilities & Sustainability Plan (LRFSP) at the Palo Alto Airport will determine the extent, type, and schedule of improvements needed for the next 20 years.

The community meeting will take place in person at Bloomhouse at 2555 Pulgas Ave., East Palo Alto, on August 24 from 6 - 8 p.m.

Boulware Park Ground Breaking

Join City Council Members, City staff and neighborhood leaders for this exciting milestone - the first full park renovation and addition of new parkland to the City’s inventory in the past 20 years.
