Request for Council Prescreening to consider the subdivision of a 20,787 square foot lot into four equally sized lots of 5,196 square feet. An existing driveway that serves four rental units would be repurposed into a driveway easement and serve 4 single-family homes of approximately 2,300 square feet, each with an Accessory Dwelling Unit, for a total of 8 dwelling units. The driveway of each home would be separated by a good neighbor fence and/or landscape and is located in a similar location as the existing driveway on the property. Zoning District: R-1 (Single Family Residence). Environmental Review: Preliminary review includes a study session and no formal decision will be made on the project at this time. Therefore, this application is not subject to CEQA. Any formal application for the proposed project would be assessed in accordance with the authority and criteria in the California Environmental Quality Act and CEQA Guidelines.
