Request for Signage Exemption to Allow the Removal of the Existing Signs on the Exterior of the Macy's Building located in the Stanford Shopping Center. Removal and Installation of Macy's Signs at the Stanford Shopping Center, New Signage is Not a Direct Replacement of the Existing Signage Nor Does it Conform with the Master Tenant Facade & Sign Program in Place. The subject project has been assessed in accordance with the authority and criteria contained in the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), the State CEQA Guidelines, and the environmental regulations of the City. The project is exempt from the provisions of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) in accordance with guideline section 15301 Existing Facilities Exemption as this Project is proposing new signage on the exterior of an existing building on site.
