Request for Preliminary Parcel Map to remove special restrictions that were placed on 985 Channing Avenue (APN: 003-26-062) when this parcel was subdivided from 991 Channing Avenue in 1980. The special conditions restrict the height of all structures to 13ft, eliminate the possibility of adding a second story and deny any request for a variance that prevents this parcel from being developed to the standards otherwise allowed by the City of Palo Alto Municipal Code. Environmental Assessment: the project is exempt from CEQA in accordance with categorical exemption 15315, Minor Land Divisions. Zoning District: R-1 (Single-Family Residential).
