Palo Alto, CA  Police arrested a man Friday night after he was involved in a road rage incident on the 700 block of San Antonio Road.  The man fired a BB gun at another vehicle causing the window to break.  The man was later arrested at his residence and booked at the Santa Clara County Main Jail.

On Friday, December 5, 2025, at about 6:40 p.m., our 24-hour dispatch center received a call reporting a road rage incident that occurred near the intersection of San Antonio Road and Middlefield Road.  The victim reported that the rear window of their vehicle was shattered during the incident.  Officers from the Palo Alto Police Department responded to the area and were told the suspect had fled the area prior to their arrival.

The investigation revealed that the victim, a man in his thirties, had been driving on 101 South bound when a vehicle began following him and flashing its lights.  The victim exited the freeway and was driving west on San Antonio Road when he stopped at an intersection for traffic.  The suspect vehicle pulled up next to the victim and the suspect told the victim to lower his window.  The victim did not and then heard a pop followed by the window of his vehicle shattering.  The suspect then sped off and fled the scene.

Through investigation, the suspect was identified as 20-year-old Misael Enrique Zamora of Palo Alto.  Zamora was arrested at his residence without incident, and a BB gun was recovered from his vehicle.  Police booked Zamora into the Santa Clara County Main Jail for discharging a firearm in a negligent manner and vandalism (both felonies).  Zamora’s booking photograph appears above.
