Police Recruiting Seminar Set for February 24

Do you want to wear the badge of a Palo Alto Police Department officer?
We are actively hiring for police officers (entry level, academy graduates, and laterals from other agencies), and are hosting a free recruiting seminar on Saturday, February 24, 2024 from 10 a.m. to noon in the Council Chambers of Palo Alto City Hall at 250 Hamilton Avenue.
Come learn about our hiring process (including your initial application, tips to complete your personal history questionnaire, how best to prepare for police oral board interviews, view all steps of the selection process, and the police academy experience), our Field Training Officer program, the full range of specialty assignments we offer our personnel, and details of the City's generous benefits, salaries, and retirement plans. You'll also be able to meet current officers and dispatchers who want to meet with you and help you be successful in our hiring process!
