The City of Palo Alto has been recognized as a global leader on climate action, ambition, and transparency by environmental impact nonprofit CDP.
CDP's Cities A List is based on environmental data and recognizes cities and counties across the globe taking bold climate action. Of the almost 1,000 local governments scored, just 119 received an A.
This accomplishment reflects the ambitious action Palo Alto has taken this year, including adopting the Sustainability and Climate Action Plan (S/CAP) and launching our heat pump water heater program.
