The Palo Alto Community Survey is a feedback tool that helps the City Council and City staff understand community perspectives on current services and programs, as well as unmet needs and priorities. The survey was initially sent via mail on August 13 to a random sample population of resident households. On September 15, the survey opens citywide.

November is the month of gratitude and we’re showing our thankfulness for the planet by sharing ways to reduce your carbon footprint. Celebrate a Zero Waste Thanksgiving, show your appreciation for our natural environment in Palo Alto parks, and provide input to improve walking and biking in our community. We’re also thankful to the State for being able to offer new, limited-time savings for our Heat Pump Water Heater program. Plus, the Sustainability and Climate Action Ad Hoc Committee continues its work and gains a progress report. Give thanks, help the planet, and learn how our local actions can make a global difference.
