As Palo Alto looks ahead to a more sustainable future, the City continues to take steps to reduce greenhouse gas emissions (GHGs), strengthen resilience, and support a healthier community. On March 2, City Council reviewed progress on the Sustainability and Climate Action Plan (S/CAP) and approved a new work plan, outlining key priorities that will guide climate and sustainability efforts in 2026 and 2027.
