Provide Your Input on Sustainability and Climate Action Plan Topics!

In early 2020, the City launched an update to the Sustainability and Climate Action Plan (S/CAP) to develop the strategies needed to meet our sustainability goals, including our goal of reducing GHG emissions 80 percent below 1990 levels by 2030 (the “80 x 30” goal).

 

The proposed goals and key actions(PDF, 704KB) include seven topic areas: Energy, Mobility, Electric Vehicles, Water, Climate Adaptation and Sea Level Rise, Natural Environment, and Zero Waste. The City recently launched an online survey to gather community feedback in each area.  

  

This survey is intended to help inform S/CAP Update conversations taking place with the S/CAP Ad Hoc Committee and City Council. We welcome your input through the Sustainability and Climate Action Plan Update Survey. Expect to spend 5-7 minutes completing the survey; we welcome your input in any or all of the areas. This survey will remain open for the duration of the Ad Hoc Committee meetings, through April 2022. We encourage you to return to provide your feedback as you are able and as you learn about these topics through the Ad Hoc meetings.
