Upcoming Closures to East/West Bayshore for Bridge Project

As part of the Highway 101 Pedestrian/Bicycle Bridge project, the City’s contractor will be pouring concrete deck over the steel trusses installed across West and East Bayshore Roads and Highway 101 on the night of Friday, July 9. Pumps will be setup on West and East Bayshore Roads to pour concrete over the steel trusses. The following closures and detours will be in effect to complete this operation:

1. West Bayshore Road closed between Loma Verde Avenue and East Meadow Drive from Friday, July 9 at 8 p.m. through Saturday, July 10 at 1 a.m. The following detour will be in effect during the closure: traffic in both northbound and southbound directions via E. Meadow Drive, Louis Road, and Loma Verde Avenue. See detour map for West Bayshore Road Closure.(PDF, 5MB)
2. East Bayshore Road closed between San Antonio Road and Embarcadero Road from Saturday, July 10 at 1 a.m. through Saturday, July 10 at 6 a.m. The following detour will be in effect during the closure: traffic in both northbound and southbound directions via Embarcadero Road, Greer Road, Oregon Expressway, West Bayshore Road, Fabian Way, Charleston Road and San Antonio Road.
