About the artist:

Casey Reas has been creating abstract art with code for over two decades, presenting his dynamic images as live performances generated in real time by computers. He holds a master’s degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Media Arts and Sciences. Along with Ben Fry, Reas initiated Processing (an open-source programming language and environment for the visual arts) in 2001. He works and lives in Los Angeles, CA.
