Access
At the Palo Alto Art Center, you will find a variety of accessibility resources to enhance your visit:
- A facility that is ADA accessible.
- Exhibitions that are designed according to the Smithsonian Guidelines for Accessible Exhibition Design.
- Large-print labels.
- Accessible easels and one accessible potters' wheel for wheelchair riders. Teens and adults can enroll in a ceramics or painting class and reserve this equipment by contacting artcenter@paloalto.gov or calling (650) 329-2366.
- Trained staff who are accommodating to any special needs – please ask if you need any help.
- Accessible parking.
- The Oasis--a quiet space for nursing caregivers and anyone in need of a sensory retreat.
