Lantern Festival Community Partner Day: A Teen-Led Celebration of Light & Belonging

Join us on Saturday, April 5, 2026 at Magical Bridge Playground in Mitchell Park, Palo Alto for a special Community Partner Day that is designed, sponsored, and led by local teens.

This all-ages Lantern Festival is part of Magical Bridge’s monthly Community Partner Day and reflects the creativity, leadership, and heart of young people who are passionate about inclusion, belonging, and bringing their community together. Throughout the day, teen leaders will host hands-on activities, partner pop-ups, and lantern-themed experiences that invite everyone to participate, connect, and celebrate.

As the day unfolds, enjoy lantern making, art and glow activities, music, storytelling, and opportunities to meet community partners — all curated with care by teens who believe in building a kinder, more connected world. As the sun sets, we’ll gather for a shared lantern moment, celebrating light, hope, and togetherness across generations.

This event is open to all ages and all abilities and honors the powerful role teens can play as community builders, organizers, and changemakers.
