May is Bike Month and Bike to Work Day is around the corner on Thursday, May 14!
Bike to Wherever Days continues the fun through May 16 with more events and Energizer Stations for riders in Santa Clara and San Mateo counties.
Bicycling is a great alternative to driving a car, and it is a fun and healthy way to explore your community. There are a wide variety of activities for everyone during Bike Month. Come out and join us with friends and families to celebrate bicycling. Pledge to Ride during Bike to Work/Wherever Days and receive a Bike to Work Day tote bag.
Biking to wherever? Enjoy some fresh air at one of Palo Alto's open spaces and parks or support your local businesses on a car-free street.
Visit Silicon Valley Bicycle Coalition website for more information.
Want some swag or to meet up with others biking? Silicon Valley Bicycle Coalition’s Palo Alto Local Team, Walk Bike Palo Alto Volunteers and The Hub are hosting Energizer Stations citywide. Pledge to ride and be rewarded with refreshments and free gifts for bicycling. “I Bike Palo Alto” T-shirts courtesy of the City of Palo Alto will be available while supplies last. Registered stations are published on the Energizer Stations regional map. Look for a station near you or on your route to Work/or Wherever.
