Jonah Ward

About the artist

Jonah Ward grew up at the end of a red dirt road in a historic homestead on Foster Mountain, Willits, California and was educated in a one-room schoolhouse until attending Willits High School. He earned his BFA at California College of the Arts in 2006. He divides his time between his Vallejo home and studio and the Willits family property, where he harvests and collects materials for his artwork.
