Featured Installation: Glow Lane
By Shagun Singh (USA)
Location: 536 Emerson Street, Palo Alto
Glow Lane is an interactive light installation that transforms a narrow alley into a glowing, responsive passageway.
As people walk through, motion sensors trigger pulses of color and light - cool blues and greens follow slower movement, while warmer reds and pinks emerge with greater energy. Designed to respond to presence and pace, the installation turns a simple shortcut into a playful, ever-changing experience.
Glow Lane reimagines an underutilized urban space as a site of curiosity, connection, and surprise. What’s typically overlooked becomes a moment of wonder and interaction - part public art, part urban intervention, and wholly transformative.
